POST 1

What is the most important world issue and why?

I believe the most important world issue is disparity. This is such a significant issue because billions of people world wide are suffering. Big corporations such as Apple locate their job sites in places like China where they can pay a very minimal amount of money where as if they located jobs in a more developed area they would have to pay more; meaning less income for the company. This feeds a cycle of poverty in some of these regions. By distributing money more evenly throughout the globe would arise many opportunities for less developed county's. Allowing them to build schools, create jobs and send children to school. Children in these under developed country's who then have the opportunity to get an education. As you can see, it would create a snowball affect pulling the country out of poverty.

  1. Good points Shelbie! I do agree with your statement, but unfortunately the big corporations do not think the same way. They do not care about those overseas, only about the money that is in their own pockets. Sad, sad world. Great post, great post!

  2. Yes that is very true but unfortunately the big companies aren't willing to do that. There is enough money in the world to go around so no one would starve but unfortunately that is no the way it is. But I do agree with you entirely. Good job :)
